Medford, MA to Derry, NH Move 4/22

by Steve Casey

On Monday, April 22nd, three movers arrived bright and early at the Casey Movers office to begin work. They started the truck and while it was warming up, they collected their supplies – a 4 wheeler, 2 wheeler, mattress bags, shrink wrap and plenty of moving blankets.  They were moving a customer from his 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor in Medfield to his new house in Derry, New Hamshire.

The customer, Bruce, first heard of Casey Movers from a co-worker of his. Bruce used Denise Burgess from Remax Realty as his realtor of his new home in New Hampshire.

The 3 movers, Brian, Scott and Jimmy, arrived at the customer’s house right on time. They wasted no time getting started; they introduced themselves to the customer, went over the paperwork and then started loading up the truck. The customer, Bruce, had made given the estimator a quick inventory before the move, so the movers knew what they were in for. The larger items included 2 television sets, 2 couches and 2 beds.

The 3 movers used heavy duty moving blankets to wrap all the large items up and added another layer of shrink wrap over that so they would be in great condition through out the move. They also used plastic mattress bags over the 2 mattresses so they would stay nice and clean while in the truck. The movers never cut corners.

Once the load up was complete, they hopped right back in the truck and headed for Derry, New Hampshire. They were there in no time, and like before, they wasted no time getting started. They moved all of Bruce’s belongings from the truck and into the new house. After the truck had been emptied, the movers double checked that all the furniture and boxes were where Bruce wanted it to be in the house.

The customer, Bruce, was very pleased with how the whole move went. He had excellent things to say in the Casey Movers Customer Comments and the Angie’s List Review. For example, he said “the move was good and proffesional.”

Framingham to Acton, MA Move 4/16

by Steve Casey

On Tuesday, April 16th, three movers arrived at the Casey Movers office early in the morning. The movers were scheduled to move a customer from their 3 bedroom home in Framingham to their new house in Acton. The movers gathered their gear for the move while the tractor-trailer warmed up in the parking lot.

The customer, Stefano, heard of Casey Movers from our postcard he received in the mail with the photo of our owner’s black lab on the front. Underneath the lab, the words “relaxed customers” stand out. Stefano used Agapi Sfakianakis from Century 21 as his realtor for the move.

The 3 movers, Matt, Tim and Jorge, arrived at the customer’s Framingham home at 8:45 in the morning, right on time. The customer’s wife was pregnant, so the movers wanted to take away all the stress that they were feeling about moving. They introduced themselves to the customers, went over the paperwork and began loading up the truck.

While one of the movers ran boxes from the house to the trailer, the other two wrapped all the furniture with heavy-duty moving blankets to keep it all in pristine condition throughout the move. They also used plastic mattress bags for the customer’s 2 queen beds and one day bed to keep the mattresses nice and clean.

The men from Casey Movers work so well as a team, so they had no problem working together to carry the larger items to the trailer. Once they were done with the load up, they hopped right back in the truck and headed to Acton, MA.

Once the movers arrived in Acton, they went to the customer’s storage space first, where they were leaving some of the customer’s belongings. After unloading some into storage, they drove across town to unload the rest at the customer’s furniture and belongings.

The movers arrived at the home the customer, Stefano, was moving into.  They unloaded the trailer carefully but quickly. Once they had unloaded everything into the house, they arranged the furniture just the way the customer wanted it. He was very pleased with the movers and the hard work they accomplished. The customer had no complaints, and neither did his wife.
